It Hurts. But it's NOT the end.

Heartbreaking. I bet the world's laughing at us right now. Yeah, we just lost to Tottenham. No idea how we did but we did. Liv was definitely the better team. No one can deny that. But as they say 'The ball is round'. Anything can happen when it comes to football. Underdogs do win at times. What you expect isn't always what you get.

So everyone will say that the Reds simply don't have the quality to go on and win the league. And critics would probably conclude that they're just not good enough. So what if we lost? So what if we're back to second place? So what if we're trailing behind Chelsea on goal difference. So what if our unbeaten run is over? It hurts so much to see everything fall apart like this. But guys, it's NOT over. If this Liverpool's the team we know, then we'll see them coming back from defeats and rising up again. That's the spirit. That's the team. =). 

Liverpudlians, it's not over. If there's anyone who needs to believe, it's us. And for all you bad-mouthed anti-Liverpool guys, seriously, say whatever you want. Cause at the end of the day, we still know who the TRUE champions are.

And as much I had liked to believe that they would pull off another one of those comebacks, I really couldn't this time. Merseyside Derby

It's just a few minutes passed the Merseyside Derby (Liverpool vs Everton). And once again, I'm ecstatic. The last time I ever felt this way was two weeks ago. Heh, we all know what happened. =D. Anyway, I was really hoping for a win this time. We won against them last year when we played at their home ground. But many said it wasn't fair due to the 2 penalties that were awarded to us. So I guess we justified ourselves this time around. The verdict? 2 goals by none other than El Nino. =). He scored both in four minutes by the way. And he was supposed to get a hat-trick. Thanks to that disallowed goal. NOT AGAIN. Nvm, at least they won. I know it ain't such a big deal, but it's really happy to know. And the whole team did so very well. So glad. HEHEH. Waiting for the goals to load right now. It's only a few months before I can get Astro which means LIVERPOOL MATCHES for me.

It ain't the first time.

Since the EPL started for more than a month already, I see no point in bringing up past games except for the Triumph over Old Rivalry. That'll come later.

I haven't been catching up with much news due to exams. Well today I had a glance in the news and guess WHAT?




Ha! MU were fined 25000 pounds for getting 7 yellow cards during the match agaisnt Chelsea at Stamford Bridge (stalemate) on Sunday.. I'm not sure when, but early this year or towards the end of last year, MU went agaisnt Tottenham and the EXACT same thing happened. They got 7 yellow cards. And MU fans had the guts to say it was not fair. If it was one or two cards, FINE, but 7? That's like more than half of your men.. Not fair? So it happened once. They were fined back then too. Money never mattered since they're so rich anyway. At least I thought that MU might have learnt their lesson. But I guess they haven't.

Fergie, as usual had something to say (excuses) "It was a competitive game but I did not think there was one bad tackle in it," said Ferguson of the 1-1 draw."

That's great.

I'm just waiting for the day where MU will not get yellow cards, or even commit fouls. Looking at it right now, that day will probably never arrive.

A New Direction

I was still wondering why I even kept this blog till now. I didn't delete it. (It used to be my old one) Anyway, I've done lots of changes as you can see. =D. And I've decided that this'll be my second blog. Here's the catch: I'll only be posting about Liverpool, Liverpool and yes Liverpool. And wait! I will also express WHATEVER I feel about the beautiful game and that includes hammering the Scum, maybe the Blues and so on.. I know what's at stake, but then again, the truth should always be known. =). I'll be back! Manc Scum, watch out. =P
